About Me

I´m an open minded, uncomlicated and optimistic person.
At the moment I´m studying environmental sustainability science in Lüneburg with the subsidiary subject: education. From August to April 2015 I´m going to study one semester in the Basque country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Althogh I´ve been inactive for a very long time, I see Couchsurfing as an exchange of different people´s cultural backgrund, experiences and personal values, by hosting or getting hosted. Moreover, I like to discover differnt places and ways of looking at things to change my perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

-Polish, Irish traditional (volk) Musik, Salsa-Musik, Raggae, some Rock (f.ex. Red Hot Chilli Peppers etc.)
- Movies: A lot of, preferences depend on my mood. One is "Barefoot" (german tragic-comedy-love movie), "Alphabet" (austrian documentary about competition in education), but I also like fantasy stuff like "Harry Potter" or "Lord of the Rings".
-At the moment I´m only reading scientific books about my studies, but I´m looking forward to read "Las aventuras de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas", what I got as a birthday present from a lovely friend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping into the Baltic sea in March with 6°C. Getting the "yellow belt" (I know it does´t sond so much, but I´m proud of it ;) in Karate and Shinson Hapkido. Selling my old violin to finish my driver´s licence (sounds like selling my soul, I know). Getting lost in Irland by taking the dog for a walk. Playing a russian gangster in a theatre play. Drawing the portrait for two homeless men in Poland, in front of a ruin of an old palace.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make you happy with some of my vegetarian coocking skills (, I hope, and I´m good at imprvising), teach you German, if you like (I´ve taught it "professionally" during my volontary year in two schools in Poland).
I could show you some defending tequniques of martial arts, but also some techniques to ease yourself and calm down, if you are stressed or tensed up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

-Some knowledge about the environment and and sustainability, if you are interested.
-My interest for doing sports, music, arts theatre, nature, lenuaguages.
-patience, calmness, optimism and joy.
