ABOUT ME

Some people may say I'm a cranky colorful tiny girl who eats too much crisps for her size, I just like to think that I live my life the way I want to !
I'm as nerdy as girly-ish and I'm never tired when it comes about chatting, no matter what the subject is, except maybe when it involves Patagony bunnies, no opinion about this yet... But I promise I'll work on it if that's a matter of life for you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people with my roommate in Paris and I surf on a regular basis !
ALSO ! I happen to cook an awesome tiramisu (the awesome comment is a very unbiased one from my sister), so maybe, I don't know, I could cook you some ?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled in Spain with a friend of mine, we couchsurfed, had fun, almost died from starvation, and met awesome people !

Before being in CS, me and my roommate from Paris used to be hosts via Hospitality Club. We met fun and lovely people, I hope doing that again once I'll be back in Paris !

I also made a wonderful trip across the US during the 2013 summer and was hosted by a lot of great people !

Interests

I like studying the way elliptic curves take part in our current cryptographic systems... No just kidding ! (Although this is quite a little lie... I actually DID enjoy my studies about those damn curves)(now I'm into computer security, PhD and all...)

Otherwise, I love meeting new people, learning from other cultures and therefore travelling.

I also draw a lot, play the piano, take photos and spend way too much time on the Internet...

Music, Movies, and Books

Woaw, this is quite a big part...

I'm a huge fan of boring movies (boring being a term my friends use), blockbusters are definitely not my thing. If I had to give you titles... Goodbye Lenin, Amelie Poulain, 12 Angry Men, Forrest Gump, Fausta, The Pianist, La Vita E Bella, Vier Minuten... And so much more ! But I have to admit that I aslo have two guilty pleasures... Glee, and Community... So sue me !

Music... I listen pretty much everything from Chopin's Mazurkas to the last Kendrick Lamar album.

I read, a lot ! And besides my weird mathematics and computer science books, I'm a big fan of french writers from the XIXth century (Stendhal is so amazing, you should try it) and some awesome latino-american writers (Vargas Llosa, Allende, Neruda, Marquez...). I love Hemingway, I'm currently trying to read his books in English.
What else ? If I had to give you titles : The Great Gatsby, Alice in Wonderland, Zadig ou la Destinée, The Lord of the Rings, Le Deuxième Sexe, Harry Potter, the Larousse Dictionary...
Oh... And I'm a comics addict! Not the super heroes comics, the other ones like Mafalda, Calvin and Hobbes, Astérix, to quote the most famous but also all the new graphic novels we can find in Europe. Just ask me, I'm a living encyclopedia about those !
