ABOUT ME

I love traveling, especially to the US and so we with my fiancé we decided to take a year off to travel around North America. We worked in Canada for 5 months and we have been on the road since Christmas. We have been mostly to Texas, Florida and the East Coast so far and also to Mexico City where we stayed 2 weeks. We are looking forward to meeting people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I will only speak for myself here. I think when you wish something hard enough (and I mean like a dream or a great design) then you will do anything to get it even if it means working hard. I believe that those who say "I cannot do it" will not indeed. Lack of ambition is a lack of hope and so it means you are not even trying.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have never hosted people since we have been part of the CSing community only since we left France in July. We find it very interesting to meet all different kinds of people and have made friends from many places in the US and Canada.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had quite a few experiences so far since we have been CSing pretty much the whole time since Christmas! It has been great for the most part and we cannot wait to have more CSing adventures. It was really surprising at first to see how kind people are and how much they trust you around their homes and families. CSing we think is a really good thing for mankind and it is great to see that there are still a lot of good people in this world!

兴趣

We love movies! We go to the movie theater as often as we can. We love pretty much any kinds of movies except horror movies.
I am very fond of reading but Corentin is more into motorbikes.
I have been taking dance lessons (modern jazz, contemporary) since the age of 4 and I miss it a lot this year. Obviously I had to choose between traveling and dancing this year but I cannot wait to go back next year!
Obviously I am a great traveler. I mean I really enjoy traveling and I need to once or twice a year. Otherwise I just feel stuck and I don't like the idea of being stuck in one place. Corentin has not traveled so much as I have but he decided to go on this adventure with me and so he seems to like it too!

Favorite movies: there are so many but Inception, the Perks of Being a Wallflower, Silver Lining Playbooks, the Trantino movies, Pirates of the Carribean, Tim Burton movies, the Avengers and so on... I mean there are so many I cannot even think of specific ones.
Music: a bit of everything except French music & reggae. I grew up listening to hard rock/metal music and metal music is Corentin's favorite too but we also listen to pop rock, he listens to dubstep and other stuff... A few bands we both like are Rammstein, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Muse, Placebo, Rihanna, Florence+The Machine, Hurts, Lady Gaga, Linkin Park...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My 2 trips to the US, the first one in Michigan was really awesome and the second to NY was really great too as Corentin and I got engaged there. I also love going to London; I did a 6-week internship there back in 2008 and it was a wonderful experience!
During this trip we really enjoyed San Antonio, a lot of places in Florida especially the Keys and of course our 2 weeks in Mexico City with our Mexican friend were awesome! The food there is just to die for...

We have been sharing our CSing experiences and people really enjoyed it I think! And of course we tell people about our trip in the US and Canada.
