About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I just finished cycling the Southern Tier of the U.S. from San Diego, CA to Florida, 5300 Km! I have ton of stories and am interested in waking up each day curious to learn something new.

I'm in transition from work to travel and looking forward to not being part of the daily grind for a minute.

My current love is reading, cooking and traveling.

Have been listening to space rock, country, punk, indie, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My sweetie and I biked once for a year with the mission of getting across Guatemala, then decided to continue to Europe and cross another 9 countries. We love to hear stories of travelers that go by bike.

Teach, Learn, Share

My husband and I are traveling throughout Asia from Dec. 2015 to May 7th 2016. We each have many skills. Olivier is a commercial forager, writer, and photographer. I teach boat building and work in Alaska in the summer taking out wildlife photographers to see bears, glaciers and whales. We also have spent a lot of time in Latin America and have traveled extensively in the US and Canada. We are so excited to learn about and see China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My partner and I love wild foraging. We are pretty good at Identifying mushrooms and love all found edibles.
We also love music, anything active like hiking, canoeing, swimming, etc.
