About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an adventurous person that loves to explore. If I could hike everyday and swing or blues dance every evening, I would be the happiest person ever.
I'm currently a traveling occupational therapist, which means I move a lot! Being in a non-permanent position allows me to do crazy things like fly to Uganda to do medical work and hopefully go to a dance camp in Sweden this coming summer. I've lived in 6 different states because of this :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to explore the country/world but have poor job security, so budgeting! I also love meeting locals, it's one of the best things about traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz music and alternative music, but am also prone to singing along to pop songs when they come on.
Favorite book of all time: East, I don't care that I first read it when I was 12, it's the best.
Movies: I'll watch almost anything, but I love movies that make you think, or movies where it doesn't turn out 'alright' in the end.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've travelled to Uganda twice top spend a week teaching ergonomics, working with neurological patients, doing wound care, and building adaptive equipment as part of an outreach program for a clinic in Masindi. They don't have any occupational or physical therapists working at the clinic, so it's a cool opportunity for them to provide therapy services in the community.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to knit in less than an hour! I can also teach Lindy hop (a type of swing), Balboa (another type of swing), and blues dancing!
