About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy - I'm still waiting on my acceptance letter

ABOUT ME

Small town girl who loves living in the bright lights of the big city. Not so keen on the exhaust fumes though.

Learning life by trial and error. Ended up in BA for one reason or another but couldn't be happier about it.

Originally from a tiny village in Hertfordshire, just North of London where the grass in green and the stars are bright. Then followed in Robin Hoods footsteps and went to Nottingham to study History - I didn't really specialise so I know a little about a lot... but love a good debate! Dabbled in Consumer PR before taking a CELTA English Teaching course in Oxford before leaving on a jetplane to live the latino life in BA.

I think if I were an animal I would be a pigeon. Fine, they're not as pretty as swans or as wild as an eagle, but they travel, are always with like-minded friends, and get to see the cities of the world from the clouds!

PHILOSOPHY

A stranger is a friend you just haven't met yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Too soon to say - but I will show anyone around BA that wants to know about it, from an expat POV!

Interests

I like running around in fields doing sporty things, until my hayfever kicks in. But I'll give anything a go, lacrosse, tennis, skiing. Although if you want to keep all 10 fingers never ask me to ice skate.

I also like spending time in dirty, muddy fields, going to festivals. I love spending time with my Wellington Boots, come rain or shine (mostly rain). I am English after all.

Playing music is not my strong point - I once tried the flute, but I sat on it. In a non-sexy band camp way. I'll listen to anything that makes my foot tap, whether that means the Spice Girls on The Smiths.

Singing Karaoke. Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 is a personal favorite.

Cheese. All kinds. All over everything. No actually not everything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to talk. A lot. England, History (but not necessarily English History, but definitely the English Language).

I'm a horrible cook, but a excellent eater, so if anyone is willing to try and work with that I'd be delighted. I love learning about languages, although remembering is a different story.

I LOVE to try and surf but it's very early days, so if anyone needs a good laugh at my expense we can hit the waves.
