About Me
ABOUT ME
My name's Alícia. I'm a Translation graduate from Barcelona, but I'm currently living near Versailles, where I'm working as a Spanish teacher. I'm also a freelance translator.
I love hanging out with my friends and my family, going for walks (or recently runs) and listening to music. I play a little bit of guitar, but I'm not very good. I spend most of my free time reading, wasting my time on the Internet and making lists.
I enjoy learning new things and living new adventures. I'm also passionate about languages, which makes my work really interesting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only surfed twice before: the first time in Marseille and the second time in Aix-en-Provence, both times with my friend Sophie. I haven't had the chance to surf again, but I'm looking forward to it as I have good memories from my previous experiences.
Unfortunately I can't couch anyone right now.
Interests
I love reading, meeting new people, listening to music and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite books: Daddy-Long-Legs, Little Women, The Catcher in the Rye, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Jane Eyre, Between Shades of Gray and anything by Caitlin Moran.
Favourite bands/musicians: Eisley, KT Tunstall, First Aid Kit, The 1975.
I'm not much of a movie person, and I tend to only watch movie adaptations of some of my favourite books. Here are some of them: Pride and Prejudice, Clueless, The Virgin Suicides, 10 Things I Hate about You. I mainly just rewatch the Harry Potter movies over and over again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have any talents or amazing skills, but if you want to practice your Spanish, English or Catalan, I should be able to help.
