ABOUT ME: i'm a queer, afro-latina, feminist, vegetarian, coffee addict with a masters in social work/public policy. working in hiv/aids housing policy and domestic violence prevention. i previously taught elementary school students english in south korea, while engaging in cultural exchange, much needed self-care and small amounts of debauchery. **soon to be living in germany, so i won't be accepting guests in DC but may host once i settle in germany (may 2015)!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i couch surfed in the philippines. it was fabulous, i got to see parts of the philippines i probably would never have seen on my own. everyone should have that experience- the feeling of home, the insider's knowledge, and access to the best local foods and fun!
