I love socialising and being around people but also my own space (have been travelling a bit on my own but have also met up with friends and family). I'm considerate. I love to have a joke and a good laugh. I'm quietly confident and when I put my mind to something I (so far) achieve it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just settled in Cambridge, UK, but live in a house-share with 5 people so there is unfortunately not a lot of room to host. I used couch surfing a fair bit when I was travelling a couple of years ago and now consider it when doing short weekends away, just to get out of the usual hostel environment, meet the locals and perhaps see some of a city that isn't the typical tourist side.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good! Except one couch I slept on was the length of one of my legs BUT beggars can't be choosers! I think the chap thought we were going to sleep in the same bed too but I chose to stick to the couch :S

Interests

I love cats! I love rowing and playing volleyball (beach and indoor) and being active. I love the beach and being in the sun. I am 100% addicted to travel so I could listen hours on end to people's travel stories as well as sharing mine, I like getting ideas about where to go, especially places I've never heard of or that maybe aren't the first to come up when you google where to visit in a particular country. As a result of all the travel I've done so far, I really look forward to meeting new people and making new friends every time I lob into a new place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Getting off the train in Venice and walking outside to this amazing city on water, I was completely speechless.

2. Partying on the Greek Islands. I had no idea what to expect when my friends said to meet them there but it turned out to be one of the craziest weeks of my life (I jumped off a 12 meter cliff!).

3. Sky diving in Sydney. Didn't think I'd actually go through with it but was just sensational once I was out the plane. I think I was on a high for well over a week.
