I consider myself out-going, open-minded and energetic, sometimes to the point of ADD. I do have a nostalgic side though. While travelling I focus on meeting new people and trying new food, preferably at the same time.
I lived in Belgium (Leuven) for a year, as my Erasmus exchange. Ever since I've been missing the international experience, I'm constantly looking for different ways to fill the gap.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Partly explained above. Plus I've been introduced to CS by one of my best friends, who's an experienced couchsurfer. Travelling (and couchsurfing) with her I met a lot of wonderful people.

Interests

Languages. I consider speaking a foreign language similar to playing an instrument. I can't do the latter (yet), so I'd love to learn as many languages I can.

Dance. As a kid I wanted to go pro with dance. I had to quit, but to this day dancefloor is my place. Both at the clubs and latino parties.

Food. Mostly eating, unfortunately.

Sports. I love winter sports and scuba diving, although I've tried the latter only a few times. Another thing to make up for!

Books: my favourite author is Michael Faber, I also like Spanish-writing authors, especially Isabel Allende.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently travelled to China (Beijing) to take part in a (moot court) competition in air law. I challenged myself and met a lot of both wonderful and inspiring people. The few days were a truly motivating and enriching experience. I also got to see the Great Wall. All in five days. :)
