I'm on my third year of university studying Biotechnology, living in the beautiful city of Gdańsk.
During a trip I'm passionate about nature but also enjoy getting to know other cultures and a good city tour with beautiful architecture.
I absolutely love reading books and listening to other people's stories.
My native language is Polish, I speak English well, French and German on a VERY basic level and recently started learning Norwegian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I want to get to know different people from around the world, their culture and point of view. I believe the world is beautiful in a different way in stanger's eyes and most certainly worth appreciating. The trip is not only the views and the buildings but also the extraordinary people you meet.

Another point is the fact that travelling may be expensive and as a student I obviously will gladly find any way to save during a trip - for another one!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to choose favourite books and music, I like knowing diverse genres but as for books there is a special place in my heart for British Classics: Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens, J. R. R. Tolkien and if I had to make my choice I'd say my absolute favourite piece is Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh for the extraordinary magic of the images and ethralling characters.
Also, I'm a fangirl type so better get ready to see me reading fanfics on my phone at 2 am.

Speaking of music, I love classical music including soundtracks but will not pass on some Beatles or Queen, from time to time I enjoy listening to some pop - Glee is always a way to go! Current most listened to artist is probably Twenty One Pilots.

As for movies if you like Marvel and Lord of the Rings we certainly share a common ground ;) I usually enjoy good old method of watching those with good ratings on charts ;) Love films with special climate in them like Amelie or Inception. If there's Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hiddleston in it that's an extra point! Also there's no movie that can't be saved by a proper amount of popcorn and chocolate.

When I was 12 I've read whole Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in one night and I think that's something.

If you'd like to learn some Polish I'll gladly help you. I can help with some random biotechnology facts if you ever have a biotechnology final question at Millionaires. I can also teach you basics of épée fencing.
