About Me
Hi there! I’m starting my journey with the Couchsurfing and I can’t wait to meet you in person.
A little about me. I come from a small village in the northern part of Poland called Boroszewo, but I moved to Warsaw almost 4 years ago. I'm currently a third-year Computer Science student, and I signed up for the Camp America program, where I work as kitchen staff at one of the camps in Virginia. I have gained extensive experience through Student Exchange Programs across Europe and love creating my own adventures in different European countries (all listed below).
In free time? I used to enjoy calligraphy and working on new projects related to this topic. But recently I started crocheting and learning new bracelet patterns (I spend a lot of time on it at the camp). Last year, I found a new hobby, which is taking bike trips to new destinations in Poland and Latvia. I've just started doing some yoga in the mornings and appreciate my surroundings, especially nature, more. Off-topic, I love tea, but I don't mind drinking matcha either🍵
Exploring new cuisines and discovering great hangout spots in your city excites me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm eager to use Couchsurfing during my two-month stay in the USA! Following in my brother's (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/piotr-olszewski) footsteps, traveling through the East Coast of the United States.
I'm ready to explore and take in the culture of United States. Explore new cities and meet wonderful people to share thoughts and experiences with.

Music, Movies, and Books
There's a lot so prepare yourself! I've a deep love for musicals (Wicked, Hamilton, We Will Rock You, Dear Evan Hansen), Billy Joel, Bo Burnham, Marc Rebillet, girl in red, Childish Gambino, the Japanese House, Bleachers and many more ;)
When it comes to books I like Haruki Murakami or Akwaeke Emezi, while also appreciating Stephen King's gripping stories. During my downtime, you'll find me enjoying films like Howl's Moving Castle, Inception, or watching a few episodes of Friends. To be honest I watched that TV series too many times!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went out of my comfort zone and participate in Student Exchange Program Erasmus+ where I spent 4 months in Paphos, Cyprus. I was mostly studying Computer Science but I got plenty time to enjoy swimming, hiking & exploring unknown places in Cyprus such as Polis town ❤️
Teach, Learn, Share
I think Couchsurfing offers a fantastic opportunity to explore new cities and connect with people. I can share authentic Polish culinary recipes, offer insights into Polish culture, and maybe even teach you a few Polish words along the way!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Polish music, dance and traditional dishes such as pierogi or bigos!
