Informazioni generali
Chi sono
Hello! My name is Alida and I'm currently working as an au pair in philly but born and raised in the westcoast of sweden! I just graduated high school last year where I mayored in science. I love math! I also tried to fit as many languages as possible into my schedule which led me into studying Swedish, English, Spanish and French! This is also the order of my skills in the languages haha. I love learning new languages, because that's the only way to fully take in the whole culture. I'd love to move to these countries someday and Spain is my next target!
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a great way to learn to get to know all different kind of cultures which is really interesting. I also love meeting locals when traveling since they most often know all the golden spots you can't miss and you probably will leave the city with not just great memories but also a new friend or two!
Interessi
I love traveling, exploring new places and a good adventure! I also love all the stories you get when traveling, there's always something exciting/fun/weird about seeing a new place and exploring and you always learn plenty of new things. I love photographing all the places I'm visiting as well. Meeting new people is also on my list, you can never have too many friends!

Musica, film e libri
I'm bad with favorites to be honest.. But when it comes to music right now, I listen to a lot of Rihanna (who's always going to be a fave), J cole, Drake, Beyonce, Coldplay etc, but my music taste is extremely varied!
When it comes to movies I'm an hopeless romantic and I remember having 'A walk to remember' as my favorite movie a few years ago. I also remember being obsessed with Harry Potter in my youth. Right now I rarely watch movies though, unless it's in the cinema. I'm more of a series kind of girl.
And books? I have no idea, I love inspirational books, but also criminals!
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
I would probably say moving to the us. This is the first time away from home, but I really love it and don't regret it for a second coming here! It's really a cultural exchange and I've learned so much more about usa than I would ever from my schoolbooks at home, you have to live it to fully learn the language and the culture.
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
My crazy adventures, I always have a good story to tell. (Atleast that's what I'd like to say here haha). But I can share knowlege about Sweden and it's culture.
