About Me
CURRENT MISSION
More travel!
ABOUT ME
(I live in Kailua Kona now, but no street mail to re-verify address with CS.)
Trying to be a minimalist as much as modern life allows.
I have been living in Hawaii 20 years. Working most of the time to survive as it's expensive here.
I am a porcelain artist.
Ask me whatever else you'd like to know.
PHILOSOPHY
This seems to evolve with each decade of life. Now it would be to maintain what I have. No more pursuit of anything in particular right now. Maybe it's a mid-life crisis, lol
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting when it is raining enough to fill the catchment!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was being hosted in Ireland by 4 amazing hosts! Now I have hosted a few and do so as able.
Interests
I'm a "scanner", like to know a little bit about everything but mostly
right brain things, anything creative.
Natural over manmade stuff.
- cooking
- beer
- coffee
- massage therapy
- traveling
Music, Movies, and Books
I like lighthearted movies and books for the most part.
I read anything that holds my interest, fiction or non.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This may not sound so amazing (you had to be there), but being at a Grateful Dead show, camped in the parking lot for 3 days with over 40,000 people all getting along. Amazing subculture that I am hoping this couchsurfing has a bit of the same feeling. Also, I climbed Ayers Rock in the red center :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have taught massage to Japanese students and some culinary experience. I can't wait to learn something new as being on an island this long, not a lot of options.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Massage therapy, cooking, stories, hopefully beers and laughs ;) If you want Kona coffee or macadamia nuts I can bring those upon request.
Countries I’ve Visited
Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City State
Countries I’ve Lived In
