I'm 25 years old and currently live in Toronto, Canada. I went to university to study bassoon and after that went to teachers college. After teachers college, I did some travelling across Canada, earned some money by becoming a tree planter for two seasons, went overseas, and have been alternating between going on adventures and working ever since.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though my profile is kind of new, I am not new to Couchsurfing. I got my introduction to Couchsurfing through my friend Linda, who I met in New Zealand. We couchsurfed, using her profile, through Australia. It was an amazing way to meet new people, and get great advice from locals on what's fun to do. I knew that on my next trip, I would do it again!

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music stretches pretty far and wide. I'm a fan of discovering new bands who put on a great live show.
I love Empire Strikes Back, Mary Poppins, and the Princess Bride.
My favourite book is Watership Down, Harry Potter never gets old for me, and Canadian author Joseph Boyden has become a new favourite of mine. I love adding more books to my list!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people who can give me a new perspective on just about anything and learning about new cultures. I'm not a good cook but I'm a great assistant. I'll get the ingredients, chop what you tell me to chop, and clean up is my jam! Seriously... I don't mind doing dishes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I'm good company but in addition to that, I've got some pretty good advice on what to do all over Canada, and I can knit (although I can't guarantee I'll be bringing my needles with me). Cooking assistance (see above).
