To stop wasting my life doing things that don't matter to me and to spend my time doing what makes me happy.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very spontaneous person who is always up for anything. I tend to be a night owl, but my job as a lab tech thinks I should be a morning person. I am an introvert so I seem pretty shy until I get to know someone. I don't want my life to be normal. I have no desire to live to work. I tend to do my own thing and not conform to what society thinks I should do. I am trying to figure out a way to become location independent. I have a husband and 5 stepkids and a houseful of animals. Besides wanting to travel, my other desire is to have a small homestead. I'm working on making that a dream a reality currently.

I love to go hiking, kayaking and to spend time outdoors. I enjoy photography and would like to improve. When I'm stuck indoors, I enjoy most types of music, movies and reading.

Books- I LOVE to read. I used to be very into fiction. Lately I've been enjoying true stories. If it's a book about a dog, chances are good that I'll want to read that too.

Music- I listen to anything from the old country music to rap to rock. Not a huge fan of classical but can tolerate it for a short periods. Definitely no opera or really heavy metal music.

Movies-I enjoy most genres of movies. Some of my favorites are Dirty Dancing, The Fast and the Furious (and the rest of them that go along with it) and Pay it Forward.

Jumping off a cliff into the ocean in Martinique-unfortunately, the camera ran out of film at that time, so I have no picture of it.

I'm trying to learn Spanish. I love to learn so would be open to learning anything. I play the piano and could teach that. I am also fairly knowledgeable about cats and dogs.
