Hi, I'm Ali and I come from England but am spending this year living in France and hopefully Italy as part of my university degree. I'm a relatively laid back person and enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new cultures and obviously testing the local gastronomy. I love gastronomy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm going to be staying in Bologna for 4 weeks and then moving on to Sardinia and Corsica. Whilst in Bologna I'd love to meet as many people as possible and see as much of the area as I can. If you want to hang out in any of those places, get in touch!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Completely new to this! Someone show me how it's done!
I have to make it clear: i am NOT using this to find a male companion, friendly is good...not over friendly!

Interests

I love languages, in particular French and Italian, and being involved in different cultures but at the same time showing my own culture as well. I love travelling and would really like to get into hiking or cycling....something to make experiencing new places more active.

Music: I'm a classic British music fan....as much as I love different cultures, for me, it will always be the Beatles and the Kinks on repeat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, struth mate was bloody amazing!

Also spending time with Italian people, I've learnt so much from them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to immerse myself in other languages, particularly French and Italian. In return, I would be more than happy to do English conversation practise with people.
