Overview
About Me
Hi travelers. I am Ali from the cradle of civilization, Iraq. I am a lawyer, a job which known to be very formal and routine. I love traveling. It somehow helps me to get rid of or reduce this the effect of the job on me because I feel that I am strongly attracted to adventures, weird and bizarre experiences that don't get much along with being formal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is the first app which I can use to find hosts, try exciting experiences and meet travelers. I am more interested in meeting travelers because I think that most of the travelers share the same mindset or a feeling that the whole globe is our home and there is a nomad inside each of us.
I discovered that every place I visit feels like home, although I have so far visited only 4 countries, I felt like each country, was a very unique environment, traditions and culture, this made me want to visit every country in this world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Participated in the biggest Arabic scientific pages on Facebook, I Believe in Science since I was 18 until 22. I was part of a bigger team of young ambitious translators who seek to aware the Arabic community of the latest scientific discoveries.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't mention what I can teach, I think travelers or hosts can have a more accurate say on this.
For learning, I am really thirsty to learn anything about any country; from music to religion, traditions to superstitions, art to food, history to geography and nature to people. I am interested to know how people in other countries think, how they solve problems, what are their approaches on right and wrong and how can improve myself by learning an even bit of all the mentioned stuff.
I can share the remarkable experiences of the countries I've visited and my opinion on any topic you may think of.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Experiences of a man whose passport is the weakest in the world, however, he had the opportunity to visit some amazing countries like France. Also, I can share good humor, food ideas and deep philosophical opinions.
