I live in Denver, Colorado, but I try to travel as much as I can. Ideally, I try to take one major trip abroad each year.

ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and visiting new places. Traveling can set the restart button on the rest of my life if I do it right. I used to live abroad and spent a lot of time traveling, so now I try to use traveling to broaden my horizons and relax. We work hard, so it's necessary to unplug and be in the moment.

PHILOSOPHY

Have gratitude for the many blessings in life. Life is delicious, so grab a spoon and indulge in its tastiness!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed for the first time in 2006 when I was traveling through Spain and Portugal. Since then, I have couchsurfed a couple of times, met up with locals and occasionally hosted people. These days, life keeps me pretty busy and I am not as available to host, but I might be up to showing you around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Spain and Portugal as well as a couple of times in the US. I have hosted in Denver every now and then. I have met some really great people, and have also learned that it is important to use your intuition regarding whom you surf with and host.

Interessi

I enjoy traveling (duh), cooking and throwing dinner parties, reading, film, writing, hiking, hot springs, meeting new people, learning about different cultures and religions. I think that the root of most of our global misunderstandings come from ignorance of other cultures and religions. Lately, I have also been studying and practicing meditation. I also love live music and dance.

Musica, film e libri

There are too many to list here. I really do enjoy discovering new music, films, and books. I am currently reading much more non-fiction at the moment, but I majored in English Lit in college. So, I have read a lot of poetry, novels, and short stories. I love film festivals and visiting art cinemas. Colorado has some great music festivals with local artists; we have a great music scene here. I also endeavor to get to Red Rocks at least once a year for a concert.

When we stop learning, we stop growing. I make a conscientious effort to learn new ideas, skills, and ways to do different things. Being a problem-solver and critical thinker is core to our progress.
