About Me

Hi - as many of you I love travelling a lot. Getting to know interesting and friendly people is the best thing that can happen to you while travelling. I work for german television and maybe it is a 'profession-illness', as we'd say in german: I am super-interested in other people's stories...This is, why I joined couchsurfing now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On my planned travel through NZ in January, February and March 2016 I'l like to meet the "real" NZ-people. Staying in hostels is supercool and nice as well, but it is a sort of a parallel world we backpackers are in there, I think. So I will try and stay with Couchsurfing-Hosts every now and then while in NZ; let's see, how it works...

Interests

I love listening, talking, getting in contact with People. I am interested in buddhism and meditation. And I love editing little films from the travel-videos I take on my different travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

A friend of mine from Ireland calls me the "german girl with the non-existing music-taste". Of course he is absolutely wrong, as Phil Collins is the BEST singer of all times ever.... ;-). Books? Hm, I am very much into reading Oriana Fallaci's books, And really everything that crosses my way - classics, new authors, everything. I never travel without my KINDLE. I also read buddhist literature (I am buddhist).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A world trip 15 years ago. Thats when I came to NZ the first time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to remember some of these YOGA-assanas - but I still have to practice. My brain seems to be working a loooooot slower, when it comes to terms of sports...! In my next life I'll learn how to play the piano - hopefully. (WARNING: When you happen to have a piano at home, you will have to be ready for me asking you to play something for me...)

What I Can Share with Hosts

a smile.
spaghetti with tomato sauce.
german mashed potatoes.
