About Me

For a few years now I've been hitchhiking around, only coming back home to see my family, work and rest a bit just to continue my journey with new energy.
Studying foreign languages and travelling are my biggest passions.
I also do yoga, go camping, hiking, kayaking, climbing. I went to tango classes for a few months and loved it! I do some volunteer job and recycle(can be quite a challenge in Russia). I love reading!
What I want to do is to inspire people around me to follow their dreams! I believe in best in people.
I am a kind of person who likes to try new things.
I'm trying to be as healthy as possible so I don't eat meat, practice yoga everyday, enjoy sports and outdoors.
There's a line in one of The Rolling Stones' songs that describes me the best:"Don't question why she needs to be so free she'll tell you it's the only way to be".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because here you can meet people who you share the same spirit with, people who understand you. It's also a great way to pay it forward. People I met on CS make me feel like I truly belong in this world.

Interests

I LOVE boardgames. Thanks to my American friends game nights on Friday have become a nice tradition! My favorite is Dominion.
I did a few online courses on forensics. It might be strange but I just love it.

Music, Movies, and Books

The catcher in the rye is the book which divided my life into "before" and "after". I really enjoy fiction.
Music: RHCP. I like classical, instrumental, jazz, bossa nova, and rock music. The combination of the violin and the cello drives me crazy :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

travelled 140 km by bicycle in the middle of nowhere in Mother Russia, 30 km of which happened in a horrible thunderstorm when I thought I’d die :D
Hitchhiking thousands of kilometers around Europe (mostly alone but sometimes with other travellers).
Invited all of my friends to my country house aka dacha to celebrate life. It was a fantastic international experience which became a nice tradition (you can become a part of it)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll be glad to share whatever I know. We can do yoga together or cook. I can tell you what it's like and how to be a solo female hitchhiker.
Well, just ask :)
