About Me
Hello:) I'm Alina, originally i'm from a small town from south of Russia, but many ears ago i moved to Saint Petersburg, studied there and decided to stay for a little longer.
I beleive my english is good enough to communicate with people, but one language is never enough:) So i started to learn italian and spanish (my italian is better than my spanish though) and will be glad to practice it with a native speaker.
I really love traveling and exploring new cultures and places, and places that i have in my "to see" list are Mexico, Cuba, Chile and many many more. I have laredy been to Italy, Spain, Turkey and Britain and sure to visit those beautiful countries again.
Apart from learning languages and cultures my hobbies are stitching, i love music, can play piano, i love skating and have a big love for cats, big and small:)
Looking forward to meeting you!
p.s. crazy hosts, who have mistaken couchsurfing with tinder, I'm here to find a couch for travelings, remember that :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is more exciting than hostels since you get to know different people with their own lives and experiences. Traveling and making new friends everywhere I go will always be the thing I enjoy the most.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen mostly to any type of music, i love old stile rock and new pop songs, latino music and old russian songs. But my all time favorites are Queen, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Hozier, Florence and the Machine.
I could name you a thousand movies that I love but let's just say I'm a fan of Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie.
I'm a little ashamed to say i don't read much, but i've read a big deal of classic literature in school, so now i'm more interested in history books and books that describe social problems (like Behind the Beautiful Forevers, Three Cups of Tea, etc.). Also i love detective novels of Agatha Christie.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that we can learn from everyone. That's why I'm open to share my knowledge about Russian language, our history and culture. And yes, breaking stereotypes is my favourite thing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I guess I have a lot of intersting stories about living in Russia, not in a big well know center, but a small town, with a name that's hard to pronounce. But that's not all of course. Russians have a good tradition to bring small presents when they are coming with a visit;)
