Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With local people it is much more interesting to explore the city, meeting open minded people who share the same interest as me - travelings

It isn’t long time ago when I tried couchsurfing for the first time and I don’t understand why I didn’t do that before! All people that I met from here were amazing and made my trip unforgettable. So now every time when I go to new city I try to find couchsurfers.

I also like to meet travellers in my city and show them around/have a drink together.

Interests

I like nature and animals, learning foreign languages, baking cakes, having long walks in the city, hiking in the mountains, doing sport, yoga and meditation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock, indie, electronical music, indie-pop. For the moment I love French musicians like Her, Fauve, Eddy de Pretto, Romeo Elvis, Pomme and so on. I also adore Ukrainian music, as it’s not popular abroad, I can recommend you some great artists. (Check on YouTube music films of Monatik, Pianoбой, Brunettes shoot blonds, Khrystyna Soloviy, Onuka, odyn v kanoe)
As for films, I am keen on independent movies, short and documentary films ( of Yann Arthus Bertrand for ex). My favourite director is Xavier Dolan.

Authors that I like the most: Stephen King, Jean Louis Fournier and Jonathan Safran Foer.

I can teach you Ukrainian , tell everything about my culture and habits of my nation. I adore baking, so I can teach you how to make some pastries. Ukrainian cuisine is very tasty, so if you want to try the tastiest soup in the world - bortch ask me!
