Overview
About Me
Travelled right across Europe - East to West - in hot pursuit of knowledge (currently wrapping up a Bachelor in Fine Arts and Design and the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam), beginning to set some solid roots in Amsterdam, but now in search of getting to know more of the world.
Studying can have it's own special quality of dragging you in, but with the end of my studies drawing close I feel there's a thirst for more knowledge first hand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a student in an Academy that gathers over 60 nations, but I've only visited a handful of these. The plan is to change that and Couchsurfing looks like a good start.
Interests
I'm an avid consumer of films (European, American, Eastern, no matter! with the special mention that they do tend to gravitate towards human interraction), getting quite lazy with my reading (to be corrected!), but my main love remains the field of art.
I started out as a photographer, which taught me the patience to look at the world always from different angles, and developed an interest in performance, its history and ways in which it can be further developed - less a matter of impact, more a matter of finding how the body (the individual, the collective) can be thought of in new ways, the how's and why's of how we tend to interract with our environment. Think: rules, habits, hierarchies.
Travel is a developing interest. Stand by! :)

Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to teach you more of what I know of photography and art. I'm a lover of conversation in general - my previous psychology degree never quite developed into a therapist license, but the love of talking and listening is still with me.
I think the most surprising thing would be to find out what we can learn together from each other. That's something that I'd love to be surprised by.
