Rock, metal, classical, jazz, grunge, punk, pop, electronic, dance... basically I have at least 1 favourite singer/group for every genre of music.
I have many favourite movies and books but if I had to choose one, I would say The Crow and The Picture of Dorian Gray.

I took an "unsafe shortcut": I climbed over a railway at 3 am with a friend in a foreign city to avoid a 3 km walking under the rain to go back to the hotel after a very looong day.
