Overview
About Me
I'm a 24 year old girl from Germany and love to travel independantly (which is why I'm generally travelling by myself). I have been work and travelling in New Zealand in 2014/15 and I loved my time abroad. In 2017, I lived in Hangzhou, China, doing an internship (~ 6 months) for my studies of Applied Chemistry (yes, chemistry and an organic/ sustainable lifestyle work together). Currently, I am finishing my degree and therefore living in Lüneburg, writing my bachelor thesis at the institute of sustainable and environmental chemistry.
Since my first long-term travelling experience six years ago in Canada I am addicted to travelling and I hope to see many new places each year whether close or far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and getting in touch with them by living together and sharing nice stories. Furthermore, I really appreciate cooking together and learning new recipes. And I love to gain insight from local people and experience new places from their perspectives.
Interests
Travelling is probably one of the most important things in my life. Generally I pretty much enjoy all sorts of things but if I had to choose some particular things, those would be music (singing, saxophone, piano or just listening), cooking/ baking, yoga, water activities, playing soccer and dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy any kind of music, from Katie Melua and Mozart across Maroon5 and Seeed to 30 Seconds to Mars.
I read a lot, especially whilst travelling and most books I read are in english. Mostly I read novels (old ones as well as recently published ones) and I do like watching movies from time to time but am generally rather busy doing other (more outdoorsy or active) things. So some people would call me uneducated considering movies (and series/ TV shows), but I don’t actually mind that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done so many really great things that it's hard to choose from...
A helicopter flight with my parents across the Niagara Falls, Canada
Skydiving and Swimming with Dolphins (by chance at a hidden beach) in New Zealand
