Hey there! I’m Alina, a 23 year old girl that’s in love with exploring places all over the world. I was born and raised in Carinthia, the south of Austria where I'm studying media and communication. Since working as a part-time flight attendant I also live in Vienna for 6 months a year. Whenever I’m not at university or working I’m trying to spend my time traveling and exploring new places.

One of my main goals in life is having friends all over the world. I believe that strangers are just friends you haven't met yet :)

I love going on solo trips, exploring a new place by myself in my own pace while listening to some music or one of my favorite podcasts. The best part about solo traveling is getting the chance to meet someone new as you're not stuck within the same group of people all the time. I always try to encourage everyone to go on at least one solo trip in their life.

I have a big heart for animals of any kind. Back home in Klagenfurt I have five cats whom I love to pieces. I'm also a big foodie and love trying out new (vegan) dishes wherever I go.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Meeting up or even staying with locals makes traveling way more exciting. I believe that you can learn many things about a country through locals.
I'm also a big fan of Couchsurfing hangouts. I've already met so many amazing people that way who I'm still in contact with. I love meeting new people and wouldn't it be great to have friends all over the world?

I love going to concerts, it’s one of my favourite things to do. I’m not that into movies, but two of my all-time favourite series are Friends and Modern Family.
