Hi, I'm Alina.

I live in Minsk, the capital of a small East European country. I recently graduated from the univercity and now I'm trying my best to explore the world beyond the academic knowledge :)

I find couchsurfing to be an excellent opportunity for meeting new people from different countries and seing new places from a perspective slightly different than most people would call "touristic".

I'm highly attracted to everything retro: music, movies, dancing, fashion. And I really love everything simple and minimalistic, especially if it was hand made.

兴趣

Swing dancing is a big part of my life. I dance Lindy-Hop, Balboa and Blues. If I had another 24 hours in a day I would spend them all on learning new figures and steps, watching masters dancing, and just improvising. I try to visit at least 3-4 dancing events a year, both local and international.

My other hobby is sewing. I attend courses and I can already make clothes by myself. Which makes me extremely happy (well, at least when something nice comes out, hehe).

I'm also making my first steps into coding and trying to figure if I can make a living out of it :) I really admire the digital nomad lifestyle and find it an exciting opportunity to be a part of something cool and progressive.
