Overview
About Me
I'm Alina, a 23-year-old art enthusiast from Bucharest/Romania, working in the digital art industry as an illustrator/animator. While art is my main passion, I'm eager to grasp as much as I can from all around me, from different cultures and languages ( I studied modern languages in uni), travelling, music, sports, yoga and mindfulness, learning new skills.
I'm a friendly open-minded person who enjoys meeting interesting people and see new places. I like long interesting conversations but also consider humour to play an important role.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big music junkie so I my genres of choice vary a lot, from all sorts of electronic genres , hip hop, funk, ambient, experimental, chill, soul, jazz, alternative/stoner rock.
Some of my favorite movies (which I totally recommend): anything from Wes Anderson, anything from Paolo Sorrentino, Birdman, Hunt for the Wilder People, Whiplash, Beautiful Losers, Malena, Enter The Void, Pan's Labyrinth, Paprika, Ex Machina, Howl's Moving Castle, Man on the Moon, A Fantastic Fear of Everything.
A few TV series: Rick and Morty (of course), Stranger Things, Fargo, Breaking Bad.
Currently reading: Women who run with the wolves and whatever I can find from David Eagleman, who turns neurology and brain-related-studies into great and easy narrative.
Teach, Learn, Share
Apart my full time job in the studio, I'm currently teaching Photoshop, anatomy drawing and character design classes to mid-level artists or aspiring illustrators. While doing this I realised I might have quite the skill for teaching and sharing useful experience to others.
I also did a little bit of English tutoring in my Uni years.
What I Can Share with Hosts
interesting conversations and experiences, laughs, and maybe some original artwork to have around the house :)
