ABOUT ME
I’d describe myself as an easygoing and open-minded person—I rarely complain and tend to go with the flow. I’m spontaneous (and admittedly a bit unorganized), usually running late no matter what… even if you reschedule, I’ll probably still be late! I don’t really make plans—I prefer to see what life brings and take it from there.

I change my mind easily and often, which keeps life interesting.

I’m an incurable dog lover. While I’m not a vet, I’m deeply passionate about veterinary medicine. For the past 13 years, I’ve been running a private dog shelter and have dedicated my life to rescuing stray dogs. I’ve also volunteered as a vet technician during neutering campaigns across Romania.

Besides the dogs, I’m also a proud mom of five amazing kids—three biological and two adopted—who are just as curious, kind, and excited about meeting new people and discovering new places as I am.

Road trips are my favorite kind of adventure, especially the ones with no fixed destination. The more spontaneous, the better—and hitchhikers are always welcome.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, in recent years—since my five children came into my life and with the growing responsibilities of running the dog shelter—I haven’t had much time to go out for a coffee or a drink.

However, I’m always happy to help with travel advice about Bucharest or Romania, and whenever possible, I gladly offer accommodation.

What I can offer is a unique and authentic experience of living in an unconventional Romanian family. I’m a single mother of an unusual number of children, and in our home, we cook together and truly enjoy having guests at our table.
We warmly welcome travelers with children or families with kids. We have plenty of space and are happy to make adjustments and reorganize our home to accommodate everyone comfortably.

We can offer a bed in a shared room with my eldest son or a private room, depending on your needs.
