Hey everybody!
I'm Alina, 21 from Bad Marienberg, a very small town in western Germany. I recently live in Bonn as well, since I go to University there. I'm studying nutritional science there and have one more year to go until I have my bachelor. Now that we have summer break, my friend and I are traveling to Canada and the US. We thought it'd be easier to do now, when we have more time, so we are staying 6 weeks! Out of these we're planning on doing some farm work for four weeks and then explore the country for the other two.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I want to meet locals and get an insight in their culture - not just by sleeping in hotels and wandering around the city. I've lived in hostfamilies a couple of times and even though it's not quite the same as couchsurfing, it's similar. You get to see more of the culture and know more people!
