What would my friends say about me?! Well I´m 27 years old and I have lived in Freiburg the last 6 years.
In the last year I was working on an organic farm and on the market and I did asylum counceling for people who asked asylum in germany.
A few month ago I resigned my job and my flat in Freiburg and started a biketrip with my friend. It`s our first longer trip by bike, but we plan to go to Greece my further, depending how it works and if we want to keep on cycling. :))

In Freiburg I studied environmental science.
From 2015 to 2016 I lived and studied in Chile, in Valdivia, and afterwards I went traveling for almost one year towards the north and reached until Colombia.
In my study we learn a lot about the environment and how to protect it or also how to use the nature for example wood. But I prefer the first one. Maybe I want to work ones in environmental education.
Sometimes (hopefully not always) I`m quite chaotic. I love doing a lot of things and having many plans for the day. Most of the time I have to many plans so I have to shift some of them. I think I`m often scared, that one day I don`t know what to do, but I`m not sure if this day will ever come. ;)
I think I´m a quite uncomplicated person and most of the time grinning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love contacting with people and get to know new characters and personalities. I think everybody has something special and something she/he can show, tell or teach to other people.
Of course I also love traveling and I think it`s a perfect way to get in contact with people living in the counties you are visiting and learning something about the culture and the place you stay.
It`s a complete different kind of traveling compared to just beeing with other travelers!!

Interests

I love traveling, doing sports, cooking and getting to know new people
In my freetime I love to go mountainbiking, hiking or skiing. I try to be outside as much as possible. I love cooking (and eating, of course). I`m a vegetarian and normaly try to cook vegan as well. One can make delicious meals!!
In Freiburg I started climbing again and I really enjoy doing it every week if I can. I also climb on trees just for fun or sometimes to but a banner about a important (political) topic in the trees :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading books, althoug I haven`t that much time for it right now. I love books which can inform about things or tell interesting stories. Right now I`m reading a book from a refugee whose telling his way and esperiences from kongo to europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an transalp last summer by bike. We started at my hometown and went to the see in Italy. We were 8 days biking, outside the whole day just getting up and down the mountains. It was quite arduous but such a beautiful week.

Teach, Learn, Share

I`m very interested in different languages and would like to know some words in your mother tounge.
Everyone has something to give and teach and I can't wait to get to know you! I would like to cook together if you like or maybe we can go out together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you arround in Freiburg and in the Black Forest we can go for a walk or a biger hicking tour if you like. There are a lot of (not really big mountains) but mountains and I love to be on the top of hills or mountains.
We also can go climbing or biking. Or just relax at home and cook together or talk about different journeys we did.
