I'm from Braga, a city in the north of Portugal and currently living in Gaia, right next to Porto.
I'm a medical doctor and I'm now working in Gaia hospital and specialising in Gynaecology/Obstetrics.
I don't have much free time and I have crazy schedules but I love to travel and try to go away whenever I can. I've been to many countries in Europe (and planning to keep extending the list) and starting to explore countries in other continents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been a couchsurfing member since 2009 and but never had a chance to participate before and I decided to try it out this year.
I think that couchsurfing is a great idea and an amazing way to travel and also as a host is a nice way to escape the routine, meet new people and share experiences, in your everyday life.

Interests

I really love the sun and laying at the beach is the best way to spend a relaxing day.
I like other outside activities such as hiking, going to a park, or just wandering around the city.
A perfect activity is to sit in a calm terrace with a good conversation and a good view, and maybe watching the sun go down.
I like to cook, but rather simple, practical and delicious everyday life food.
I love adrenalin activities (as long as I feel reasonably safe).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept under the in Croatia and Greece, travelled many kilometers around Europe in a caravan.

I would like to improve my cooking skills and to learn with other people foreign and traditional dishes.
I could share life and traveling experiences, giving suggestions about many cities and countries in Europe.
