I live in Rotterdam not the Hague! Couchsurfing won't let me change it

Hi! I am a 21 year old student from the Netherlands. I am currently doing a international study at The Hague University. I absolutely love travelling, which is my biggest passion maybe apart from writing. When I am not too busy, I usually hitchhike some place fun. Maybe a little too impulsive but it gets you places and gets you to meet new people.

I am a bartender at our local gaybar (so much fun) and I make great cocktails and great parties! I love drag and drag parties. Oh and I make the best breakfast while dancing to 80's songs. So yes I am now trying to convince you in letting me stay by bragging about my eggs and cocktails.

Interests

I absolutely love travelling and writing, so luckily these two combine together perfectly. I am very interested in writing/journalism and therefore also reading. Furthermore I have one secret hobby and that is feeding birds my old (or sometimes even new I cant control myself okay) bread, like an old lady. Like Ive mentioned, besides studying I am a bartender at the gaybar which is loads of fun. I also volunteer on topics like womens rights and environmentalism.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is always the last one Ive read (Thats a quote from The perks of being a wallflower, one of my favorite books.) Besides that I loved The Reader, of course Harry Potter, Ive never promised you a rosegarden, Sylvia Plath, and come on give me some Murakamiiiiii. I am not a big movie watcher but I love horrors, especially if they involve this sceptic redneck character, ("I aint afraid of no ghost, cause I got my gun") and furthermore basically any movie that is made for kids. I do watch series and I loved Orange is the new black and The walking dead! Music is a wide range, I love artic monkeys, the kooks, The Killers, etc. My favorite band in the whole world is La Dispute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I saw 17 I fucked up my study, grabbed my bag and started hitchhiking. I didn't care where. I was so excited and scared and I eventually ended up in Budapest. Since then I have traveled so much, almost always alone and it makes me just as happy as then.

What I Can Share with Hosts
