ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Lindsey. I'm studying abroad this semester in Wales, and am really enjoying my travels while here! :-)

Living, laughing, loving and learning, I am working and a continual work in progress. I believe in the maxim "love all, serve all", and I believe life is a gift. I think everyone has something to offer the world, and I believe in the smallest act of positive change. These next few months I'll be studying in Europe, and plan to take advantage of all that this offers. "Celebrate we will, for life is short but sweet for certain" are some of my favorite lyrics from the Dave Matthews Band.

I'm pretty laid back, easy going, friendly, and open minded.
I believe that life should be treated as an adventure, and think the world is an open book for us to learn from.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had an awesome experience with couch surfing. Couch surfing has shown me how gracious & kind perfect strangers can be. Regardless of our background, culture, or race, we're all people, and can all learn so much from one another. Couch surfing has enabled me to meet some really great people in several different countries. I recently backpacked for 28 days in Europe and while traveling we stayed in hostels, hotels, and couchsurfed, & after all three I would prefer couch surfing to staying at a 5 star luxury hotel any day. In traveling I've learned, it's not so much the place you visit, as the people you meet, that make your time worthwhile while there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving.

The Grand Canyon, Swiss Alps, and Greek ruins top the list of the coolest things seen so far.

Jumping off of waterfalls is up there with sky diving.

Teach, Learn, Share

So far I have learned more during my study abroad experience in the month I traveled (15 cities, 7 countries, 28 days) than I have in the other 5 months of studying combined.

This world is a beautiful place. I want to see as much of it as I can.
