About Me
"DON'T DREAM YOUR LIFE, LIVE YOUR DREAMS!"
I'm a Brazilian girl who lives in Australia after spending 2 years in Canada and traveling around.
I was born and grew up in a small town in Brazil, but in my heart I always wanted something bigger. So I started to study and work in different cities until the moment that I moved to São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil, where I've lived for 2 years until I decided to try "new horizons" and I moved to Canada to study English and do volunteering.
In Canada I lived in Toronto most of the time, worked for a tour agency and I traveled across the country in a campervan, from coast to coast. The plan was to swim in Atlantic and Pacific oceans and I did it! 9 provinces and 10,515 km later, from Halifax to Tofino, going through the Prairies and the Rocky Mountains, after seeing bears, moose, wild goats and eagles. It was one of the best experiences of my life!
I love camping and nature, walking, hiking, exploring; but I also like to see the main cities, interact with people, and connect to locals to see how real life looks like in every place I go. I have also backpacked in Europe by myself: 30 days, 18 cities, 12 countries, many new friends and good stories to tell (including the many times I was stopped by immigration).
At the moment, after living in Sydney for 5 years and building my online business, I'm travelling around the American continent by myself. I left in March 2023 and I've been living in hostels and doing work exchange (Helpx) and Couchsurfing since then, while meeting amazing people in the journey. My plan is to travel for the next year, so hopefully we can meet somewhere.
I love to travel and live new cultures, meet people and make new friends. I also love yoga, meditation, mindfulness. I'm vegetarian. Traveling makes me learn so much about the world and about myself. I believe life is about how you connect with people, the memories you carry and experiences you live. We are our experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to see new places, make new friends, try new culture and connect with locals. I used to host international people from AIESEC in my place in Brazil and also Couchsurfers in my house in Sydney, Australia. For me it was a great experience and I had the opportunity to bring different cultures to my place and life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like super hero and fiction stories, but I'm an open mind person so I like to try different things, including music, movies, etc. I usually listen to pop, rock, country, reggae, forro, electronic, classical music... it depends on the mood :) (I can dance too)
I'm kind of crazy for Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings as well, I have one tattoo of each on my skin, because I do believe both can live together :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not one, but some. Life is amazing. Here are some of them:
- Driving around Australia by myself for 10 months
- Driving across Canada in a colorful campervan
- I've been to 5 out of 5 Great Lakes in North America
- Hiking the Rocky Mountains in Canada
- Seeing a moose, black bears, elks, bison, eagles, etc
- Moving to Canada alone
- Moving to Australia alone after a tough break up
- Bungy Jump in New Zealand
- Sleeping in a hostel that used to be a jail
- Sleeping under the stars (out of the tent) in Bruce Peninsula + being scared by raccoons at night
- Stand Up Paddle in Lake Ontario (yes, I fell down in the freezing water)
- Backpacking alone in Europe: 30 days, 12 countries, 18 cities, a lot of new friends and good stories
- Sleeping in a stranger's house in Amsterdam because I didn't have a place to stay
- Sleeping in a bus stop in Paris to wait for the subway station to open
- Walking the whole city in Paris with my backpack because I didn't find a locker to leave it
- Trying to hunt Aurora Borealis in Ontario, renting a car and driving north on a random Wednesday night
- Going trekking for 17 km by mistake walking by 10 deserted beaches in Brazil + wild camping
- Going hiking for 22 km by mistake in Blue Mountains (my friend told me it would be just 1h30 hiking, not 7h lol)
And also a few other things that I can share in a good conversation :)
Teach, Learn, Share
My first job was teaching English for kids, so I like to teach and to share what I know. I can teach Portuguese, English, dancing, cooking some Brazilian dishes, and maybe a few other things :) I would love to learn about your language, your city and your culture. I can also share my experiences from Brazil, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and so on. There's always something that we can teach and something that we can learn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share travel experience, talk about life, cook together, drink some wine, water, juice, coffee or tea, share good and positive vibes and have some great conversation :)
