Hi ;) I’m a 24y/o German speaking Italian currently staying somewhere between the Pacific and Indian Ocean! In 2017/2018 I spent 8 months in Australia where I discovered couch-surfing. I think the best way to know something about somewhere is staying with and talking to locals.
After returning home I completed my Bachelor’s degree in 2022 and am a radiographer now. Worked the past 8 months in a hotel to save some money for my travels starting in feb 2023. Been to Hawaii, Indonesia, Vietnam and Australia again. Also started a correspondence course in nutrition counseling besides work, let’s see where this leads

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it’s a great way to meet new people from all over the world. The best part of traveling is the people you meet, having a great time and may stay in touch with them! (Still in touch with one of my hosts from Aus and have been catching up!)

Interests

Since I travelled Australia I never wanted to leave the adventurous live and go back to the ordinary… But after completing my Bachelor’s and having some work experience my mum now is ready to “release” her girl in this huge world.
All I’d love to do atm is seeing as many beautiful places as possible and catching up with amazing people, enjoying life and see what happens along ;)
Currently my life consists of living life at it’s fullest! Do I want to go for a hike? Let’s do that? Beach? Down on that! Learning how to surf? Let’s try! Having delicious foods? I’m in! I am so grateful!
When having time I love doing workouts to clear my head. Also going for walks to breathe some fresh air and get some movement instead of lying in my apartment around the whole day. I love going for a hike! Did you ever think you can't do it because the trail is steep and seems eternal? Once I'm on the peak the suffering is forgotten. That view from the top always blows my mind.
I also love beaches and the sea (even though I have lot's of respect for the sea, it can be calm and still but rough and rigid too - in the end it's always beautiful). For years now I'd love to learn surfing, did a windsurfing course 10 yrs ago, I know it's not the same but I have experience in standing on a board and waves giving me a good shake.
Music is life, there is the perfect music for every mood. And you can shake off worries just by dancing like nobody's watching.
Less is more. My dream isn't having a huge house and a fast car. You'll always want more. My dream is to live somewhere in the tropics where I can grow my own food the whole year around and maybe a small caravan to live in. Live isn't meant to live in one place. Sitting in nature, breathe that peace in, surrounded by animals and lovely, caring people is all I can think about.
I'd love to wind down a working day with you, having great talks and play some games (no excess screen time, live should be lived in real and not on social media). I'm the worst in chess, I really don't want to give it a try - again. I'm happy with everything else ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m nearly always listening to music, it’s relaxing and sometimes I need it to calm down. I never watch TV or any movies. When I was younger I used to read lots of books, currently I sadly don’t find enough time to sit down with a good book and relax.
