Overview
About Me
I'm an open-minded person from Berlin, Germany. I work as an urban planner, and am mostly interested in urban research and urban sociology. I enjoy meeting new people very much. I love discussing about movies or TV shows with them or engage in semi-political discussions. Together with my partner, I spent the past six months in Porto – where he studied and I worked. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used Couchsurfing for the first time in 2010 in Norway: there, me and my friends were introduced to this really cool way of travelling and getting to know more than just superficial stuff about places you go to. In 2017, I couchsurfed some nights in Morro Bay and San Diego, California. (All these times, we used my friend's profiles which is why I don't have any recommendations on mine, haha, but I promise, I'm cool!) And then in 2019 I went from Lisbon all the way to Berlin, passed Spain, France and Switzerland on the way and had the most beautiful encounters with wonderful hosts that gave me the best time ever.
This February, we drove down to Porto and had three CS nights and totally loved it! We met such kind-hearted people who, after a long day in the car, would grant us the most relaxing nights.
Interests
Like I said, traveling and everything that comes with it is so much fun to me, not only exploring new landscapes or cities but also learning a bit about other cultures and making friends all over the world. I also love music! I play the piano, love to go to concerts, festivals and good parties. I'm also into hiking. And I enjoy analog photography a lot.
