About Me
CURRENT MISSION
see new countries and have fun
ABOUT ME
What shall I tell about me? I am a friendly and funny person. I like to talk with other people about everything what comes in mind.
And I like it to laugh, see new places and just have fun and hanging out.
At the moment I am living in an orphanage behind a small village in tanzania, near Iringa for one year. Here I am working in the orphanage's own carpentry together with another german and five tansanian guys. I really love it, especially I love it to sit together with the mamas and children after work.
PHILOSOPHY
Why not drawing a smiling face on each of your toes every day?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am always looking forward to a new host or a new couchsurfer. And I am always curious about their stories and experiences, which they have to tell. But I also like it to just meet up with the people and spend some time together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While I was travveling through USA I started with couchsurfing and I started to love it. And now here in Tanzania it goes on :-) It is so amazing that you are coming to a stranger's house and you directly feel at home. But it's not only hosting or surfing, the fact that you meet so many new people.
I defdefinitely recommend it to everyone!
Interests
One big interest is my work. I restore old furniture, the traditional way, and I love it. Every piece which you get is different and tells an own story. To keep the history and make some new history is really great.
But I have not only my work. There are the normal hobbies, like skiing, motorbike riding, horse riding, cycling...
And then there are interests like discover new countries and cultures, learn new languages (the next time it will be kiswahili), get to know new people...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Up to now I have more than one:
- A "walk" through the biggest canyon of Europe. Walk downhill to the river, walk a long time with the river and then it goes uphill. The untasted natur and the awesome colours, won't miss this day!
- Climbing mount Kilimanjaro. And the best was to do that together with my brother, who visited me in Tanzania.
- But what I liked best is the horseback safari in nothern Tanzania. I was exploring for one week together with a horse the tanzanian bush. I get to know the wildlife and the nature on such a different way. I will never forget those days.
