Hello! Nice to meet you, my name is Aline, I'm a journalist and traveler! I'm Brazilian, and I've traveled extensively in my country and other Latin American countries. I also recently returned from a long journey through Africa, where I spent a year traveling overland from South Africa to Ethiopia.

I've lived in Rio de Janeiro for four years, and most of that time I spent in the most beautiful favela in Brazil, Vidigal. An incredible place, with the true essence of Brazil and Rio de Janeiro, with amazing people, inspiring projects, and a welcoming atmosphere. I used to host some surfers in my home, but now I've moved to a smaller place where I can no longer accommodate travelers.

I would be happy to share and help travelers who are in Rio, or who will be traveling to any destination I've visited.
