ABOUT ME
Hello all,
I am a 20 year old Australian student who is currently studying in Amsterdam on exchange. I thought that joining up to couch surfing would be the cheapest funnest way to meet new people and explore Europe. I do enjoy going out in the evenings and am always proud of myself if I manage to come home after the sun has come up. I also like to go on day time rendezvous. I'm a massive fan of picnics.
PHILOSOPHY
Hooray.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have just moved into my student accommodation in Amsterdam. It's a lovely city and it would be great show people around and pretend I had valuable insights to share. My housemate just moved in the other day and I'm not entirely sure whether she would be okay with having couch surfers come to stay but I think with some gentle persuasion she should be okay with it. For now though I am happy to meet up with people who are coming to stay in Amsterdam and share the little I know about the city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a couchsurfing virgin. Through this website anyway. I have definitely crashed on many a couch though or down the awkward head to toe in a single bed.
Interests
I like the idea of speaking lots of different languages. I study French and Italian at the moment and am going to try and add Dutch to the mix. Unfortunately, I'm not terribly good at said languages. My Italian gets me by but my French is abysmal. Being in Europe will hopefully give me lots of chances to practice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am pretty easily impressed so it doesn't take much to leave me awestruck.
