I think it's nice that by couchsurfing strangers so quickly become friends. It is often a special kind of encounter. You spend a few hours or days together and then everyone goes their own way. It is not important to keep the contacts. But what you keep is from every encounter, from every place something that makes us more diverse, more colourful, happier, more experienced...
