About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am on a search for the right life: where to live, how to live, and why to live.

ABOUT ME

I'm instinctively nomadic, always down for an adventure, and laid back. I like to talk, I like to listen and make friends, relate to other people and understand different cultures, opinions, and beliefs. I've traveled through over 20 countries but haven't gotten enough yet and am always looking for somewhere new to explore. Still a California boy at heart but also a little bit of every culture and country I've visited.

PHILOSOPHY

No one should live to work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None really. I usually stay at hostels or friend of friend's places.
UPDATE: Just had my first CS experience with a lovely family in Slovakia and loved it! Also I met a couple CSers in cities and spending time with them has been great. I'm looking forward to more positive experiences!

Interests

Surfing (in the ocean), reading, writing, paddle boarding, playing guitar, wrestling, hiking, having a beer with friends, chatting with family

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One?

Road tripped for 2.5 months in the Western USA living out of a minivan. Visited around 15 national parks!

Drove trough and stayed in the Tibetan Himalayas.

Started a kebab stand called Ali Kebaba's in New Orleans.

Decided one day that my prestigious university degree is useless if it comes without life experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an intermediate student of many things, so I like to learn more than anything else. Culture, history, music, language, food, cooking are all great subjects in my mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A variety of experiences, educated discussions, laughs.
