Currently traveling on my way back to Big Sky, Montana. As soon as I am there, I hope to host surfers for the winter ski season.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a bit in the past. Now that I am set up in a home, I would like to host other surfers passing through Big Sky. That is subject to approval from my roommates, however.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was the most unique, in that my boyfriend and I needed a place to stay, or at least park our van, while passing through an extremely small town. We found ourselves linked up with one of the police officers from the town, who promptly told us that he was headed to a birthday party that night. As a couple that was up for new experiences and not turn down a party, we opted to tag along. Ended up being one of the wildest nights we had during our year in New Zealand, because as the sun went down, so did the beverages. With a variety of photos as proof, we will never forget the nine fingered policeman who invited us in for the night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving out of the Homer Tunnel on the way to Milford Sound during a rain storm that had been going on for a week straight. My friends and I had decided to stop stopping for pictures, but when we came out of the tunnel we all looked at each other and said, we have got to stop for this. It was the closest I think you can be to the world that was built in the movie Avatar. Unreal!

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure if this is what is being asked of me, but I can make a pretty neat origami ball. It is my pleasure to share this art with anyone who cares to fold a bunch of paper with me.
