I grew up in a small city with forests and nature only a few walking minutes away, have been around cats since I was 4 and like every type of animal (though i am not so found of mosquitoes and ticks^^). I appreciate creative chaos and like to explore new city, go on adventures trips and meet new people. I started classic dancing about 8 years ago and have had some tournaments in the meantime. Gymnastics and acrobatics are 2 other hobbies, as well as reading, riding, cooking and baking. Another thing I really love are metal, gothic, acrobatic and medival festivals like summerbreeze, Mera luna, Peter und Paul or MPS in Germany. My favorite way of traveling is via motorcycle, I have a yellow-black colored Suzuki from 2002. At the moment I am studying geology at the university of Karlsruhe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine from Karlsruhe shared some great stories, she and her traveling companion have had with couch surfing. For a holiday trip, I first wanted to travel from camping ground to camping ground in Italy, but due to unfortunate circumstances I had change plans with less luggage and still explore different countries. And that’s when I remembered this special way to travel ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a wide range of music from melodic death metal, classic, electroswing, anime ost, classic Japanese music, gothic, industrial, to electro. (I am sure i forgot some favorites).

There are many great books and movies out there, lets break it down to genres like fantasy (in books also romantic fantasy), horror (trash and good one), anime and sometimes comedy or action. Some all time classics in movies are Dogma, Van Hellsing, Nightmare before Christmas, Zombieland.

Books and stories i like are from mixed writers h.p. lovecraft, Trudi Caravan, Mark Uwe Kling, Nalini Singh or some independent ones from wattpad (a free book plattform)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That’s a difficult one... there are some things i am very proud of, like raising a baby mouse that has had closed eyes and needed food every 3 hours (yep, also during the night), taming a shy stray cat that has become a beloved part of our family, creating really delicious Ramen (japanese noodle soup) and onigirazu (Sushi-sandwich), as well as plant based cakes, cookies and other desserts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like to teach other people some classic and Latin dancing, basic steps or more advanced episodes. Or if they have questions about gardening, need some experiences, or seeds for vegetable plants or flowers I would share my knowledge and resources with them. Also exercises in gymnastic and acrobatics are things I can easy share with others. Also some nice cooking or baking recipes, suggestions for books, animes, movies, music, or some techniques to create chainmail jewelry.
