Overview
About Me
I am an exchange student from Russia, currently studying in Binghamton, NY.
I have started traveling at the age of 12 with my basketball team. Since then I enjoy seeing new places, meeting different people, and learning about the world around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way of traveling. By meeting and staying with locals one can get much more out of traveling. This includes getting information about good places in the city, exchanging cultures and life experiences, and seeing things from different points of view.

Music, Movies, and Books
Listen to almost all kinds of music depending on the mood.
Do not watch movies a lot, only if there is a good company :)
Enjoy reading, although it is hard to find time because there are too many interesting things to do in our world!
Like Russian classics, such as Pushkin, Lermontov, Chekhov, Turgenev, Bulgakov. Used to read a lot of dystopian novels (Orwell, Huxley, Zamyatin), books about World Wars, and science fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age 19 participated in the exchange program and moved from Russia to the US for one year.
Teach, Learn, Share
Experience and knowledge exchange is one of the major purposes of traveling. It is very interesting for me to listen to people's life stories. However, I enjoy sharing my experience and telling people about my country and traditions as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversations, history and traditions of my country, poor skills of cooking national cuisines, and help with math homework :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Israel, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine
Countries I’ve Lived In
