ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in New York City and trying to find a way to sustain myself while doing what I love. As much as I adore this city, I am always plotting my next opportunity to run off and explore somewhere new.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to adapt quickly to whatever changes come my way and lean into the uncertainty. Usually this opens my world up to more interesting and exciting opportunities. I also find that letting go of personal objects and avoiding a culture of consumerism is the easiest way to feel free and a connected to other human beings

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch-surfing involvement has been unfortunately quite mellow due to the fact that I haven't been able to host anyone yet. As soon as I am in a place where roommates are open to hosting I will be much more active!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived on a sailboat for two weeks straight which was amazing in the "i can't believe i slept on a pile of oars for that whole time" kind of way, but also in the way that sleeping under a canopy of stars made it all worth it

Teach and share? ideas, laughs, the violin, cooking, books, hugs

I'd like to learn more languages but am primarily looking to solidify my grasp on spanish and japanese.

Whether or not it is something I learn for myself, I love listening to people speak about their specialized interests. I think it's a beautiful thing when someone has found their bliss, followed it intrepidly, and is then able to share a particular depth of knowledge and passion on the matter.
