About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live. really and truly live.

ABOUT ME

i was born in new york city and raised a traveler. in my opinion, there's a difference between a tourist and traveler. when i shoulder my backpack, i always try to transform into a chameleon; taking on the shapes and colors of local culture and customs. every moment, experience, person, story, smile can be an inspiration.

i love educational psychology in theory and in practice. with a concentration in alternative, hands-on, student-focused learning.

i mildly obsessed with cultivating, cooking, consuming and composting. the more i learn about permacuture, the happier i get. i´m interested in global change and sustainable living.

i love learning languages. especially the stuff you can't find in a textbook.

i enjoy dancing, trekking, rollerblading, singing, philosophizing, writing, being.

i´m always up for new things.

PHILOSOPHY

we are our experiences. we learn from everything and everyone we encounter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've hosted, surfed, and met for coffee and drink. at the moment, i'm traveling. i am not interested in using couchsurfing as a dating site. i don't respond to general generic messages. if you contact me, please mention at least my name and why you chose to contact me. i don't like receiving impersonal messages that have obviously been copied and pasted. couchsurfing, to me, is much more than free accomodation.

Interests

traveling, exploring, new culinary creations, learning languages, hearing people's stories, growing my own food, becoming a better global citizen, reducing my impact on the environment, helping others in any capacity that i can, inspiring curiosity and creative thinking in elementary school, spreading positive energy, absorbing-transforming-emitting information and experiences
