About Me
CURRENT MISSION
live happily, help others do the same, don't worry too much about the meaning of life
ABOUT ME
The basics:
-I'm pursuing a PhD in Molecular Plant Biology. Namely C4 photosynthesis. Except, I just started so am not 100% certain what I'm doing yet.
-I'm not quite addicted to sports, but close.
Personality:
-I laugh easily, enjoy the good times and the ridiculous times even more. I'm very chill and flexible. Never quite figured out how to describe myself...
PHILOSOPHY
Keep life interesting. Enjoy the present without condemning the future. Roll with it. Everybody has a good side and is worth spending time with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently my apartment isn't fit for hosting, but I'd love to meet up with anyone visiting Duesseldorf. That said, I can get wicked busy at times.
As soon as I get free time/get my act together I plan on travelling around Europe some.At which point I'm hoping to couch surf some myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met with a couple of couch surfers visiting Duesseldorf. Always good conversations and exploration of the city/culture here.
Interests
Biology, and to a less specific extent all science.
Gymnastics, track and field, ultimate frisbee, dancing, skiing, just running...
Tinkering with anything and everything
Keeping Bees
"Survival cooking" but I really do enjoy it when I have the time, and it's extra challenging since I'm allergic to gluten.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books books books!! fantasy, non-fiction novels, historical fiction, + anything that makes you think.
Movies - ugh, I'm hopelessly unknowledgable, just assume I haven't seen it. Save goes for TV.
Music =)
Ok, I'm far from being a buf on music either, but I enjoy listening to it. Favorites are classic rock, rock, techno, any dancing, folk (come on, it is really amusing), and the eccentric.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw a hedgehog in a hedge the other day... =P
Teach, Learn, Share
Been learning some programming lately. Fair experience keeping bees. Fair experience cooking without gluten. Schooled in biology to the brim of course.
