About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting to know people, practice my Japanese and experience more unexpected things in life.

ABOUT ME

I'm a social, open, cheerful girl and I love to experience new things.
I'm more for the active kind of activities - but I can also just sit somewhere for hours and enjoy the calmness around me.
I have my own business, as an artist, so I tend to be busy with work mostly - but don't let that bother you. You'll have all the freedom you need and if you have questions, just ask.

PHILOSOPHY

Think positive and positive things will happen to you.
Whenever there is something happening in your life you might not like at first - try to see it as the beginning of something new. For something new to be born, something else needs closure - keep a high willingness to these changes and life instantly becomes brighter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to give people a nice place to stay - very country like environment - there will be times I can show you around, but if not, I can show you certain paths to take and walk along side the rivers that are near :) At the moment I have one bike that can be used, maybe in the future I'll have more. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed on any couch yet, but I might do so when I keep expanding my travels :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Wouldn't know where to start - crazy about animated movies like Hayao Miyazaki's creations - can listen to r&b, hiphop, but also latino, classic, J-pop, movie soundtracks or just piano tunes.
I like fictional books mostly and am into making my own stories and comics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been on a cruise with a bunch of like-minded people - went to eat in the teppan-yaki-restaurant there - I had asked around and there were no Japanese crew members on board they said. Too bad I thought, but then the chef that was cooking for us that evening, had been to Japan and there he had learned how to cook :) and so we chatted in Japanese a bit which was awesome! Then dinner time was over and we were taking with the other guests at our table and I don't remember how we got to that topic, but it came to juggling ... I ended up juggling (wearing a Yukata) with 3 eggs - at the place the chef had been cooking for us - and I did so pretty well, but when trying to catch them all again, when I was done - I dropped the last egg. :) The chef was not angry, in fact, the whole kitchen team had been watching and they were all impressed :p That was the craziest thing I ever did, like being on stage or something :D

And the fairy forest in Ireland - I want to go back and take my camera (yes, I forgot it) - it was so magical - words cannot describe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all kinds of things :) languages, about Belgium, animated movies, drawing, sports :)
I can even juggle with three balls ;)
